INTRODUCTION

PROPERTIES

SURFACES TO BE APPLIED

RENKLİ KİRPİ PROFESSIONAL PRIMER is applied on concrete, gross concrete, raw plastered surfaces, mdf, betopan, osb, brick, self-supporting old painted (water-solvent based) and putty applied surfaces.

APPLICATION

After the application surfaces are cleaned from all kinds of mold oil, dirt, dust, loose layers, priming is done. Before transitioning from synthetic painted surfaces to water-based system and in İpekmat Semi-gloss water-based systems (before primer application), the surfaces must be matted with sandpaper. The setting times of cement based plaster and repair materials must be observed. Care should be taken to ensure that the surface temperature is between + 5 ° C and + 30 ° C during application. The surface must be protected from frost during primer application and drying periods. Applications should be done in one coat by brush, roller or airless (spraying). After the working, equipments need to wash with water. Note: Wide transparent duct tape should be adhered on new plastered surfaces. If the plaster particles are intense, priming should be started after scraping, sanding or mechanical cleaning. REDUCE/THIN A PAINT

It is recommended to be applied in a single coat by thinning 20-25% with clean water in brush and roller applications.

DRYING DURATION

CAUTION

Drying time is 6 hours in applications on water-based paint, 24 hours in applications on solvent-based paint (higher relative humidity and low temperature drying time may be longer).

PAINT CONSUMPTION

Depending on the type, absorbency and structure of the application surface, 10-15 m² of area can be primed in one coat with 1 KG. A controlled sample study should be carried out for precise consumption.

STORAGE

Can be stored for 3 years in its unopened package, protected from frost and direct sunlight in a cool and dry place. Close the lid of the package so that it does not get air immediately after use.
